How long do you let your dog bark outside before going out and stopping it?

My dog stays mostly inside the house but unless I have a headache I usually let her go & bark.Most of the dogs on my street only bark if there's someone walking another dog or there are strangers passing by.Most of them don't bark for a long period of time.Maybe 10-20 minutes max.
